Singapore Pools Lottery Overview
Singapore Pools is the only legal lottery operator in Singapore. It offers three different lotteries – Toto, 4D, and Singapore Sweep. All have multiple tiers of cash prizes, which can be won by matching specific numbers in each drawing.
The most popular lottery is Toto, which costs $1 per board and draws 6 numbers plus an additional “bonus number” every Monday and Thursday at 6:30 pm SG time. There is a prize pool of 54% of the game’s sales, and players can win money by matching three or more numbers.
Toto has a minimum jackpot prize of S$1 million and the odds of winning the first prize are one in 13,983,816. There are also several tiers of smaller prizes, each with its own odds.
TOTO is slightly different from the normal Singapore Pools lottery because it requires players to select six numbers from 1 to 49. The winner will be the player who gets all their selected numbers to match.
4D is a similar game but with the addition of two additional entry forms that can boost your odds of winning. However, they come with a high price tag and may not be worth it for some players.
